@RaisingAstoriaNYC started as a couple of new moms meeting over coffee and pastries with their little ones. It quickly became clear that handling the struggles of a new parent was a community effort. Someone needs to take the initiative to set a time and place for folks to convene. That's where Raising Astoria NYC comes in. 
 

We strive to create a safe space for all parents of Astoria. We coordinate family hangouts and parents’ nights out.
